I would get several little things I've long desired including mini tart pans and ramekins -they are so freakin cute! I could also use a microplane for zesting :)
My favorite kitchen item is my big red handled kitchen knife (I think it is cuisinart brand) - I use every single day. After a long day in the office, I ride my bike home and immediately begin chopping something to make for dinner or take to for lunch the next day. Chopping is my therapy, it helps me unwind :)

My favourite kitchen applicance is easily my Vitamix. I use it more than once a day and has been the best thing that ever happened to me to stay on a raw diet. I mean come on, it makes nuts into flour, it makes ice cream, soups, dough, smoothies, what more can you ask out of one little appliance?
I could not live without my blender. Together, we start the day off with fiber-packed smoothies and create soups, spreads, and sauces. Even a "mask" I put on my hair in the summer time when pool water drains it of all its moisture! (Although, my blender is followed with a close second: the GIANT cast iron skillet)
I would put a gift certificate toward the purchase of some new cake pans. All of my bakeware are hand-me-downs from my grandmother *and her mother* haha So, if given the opportunity to gift myself, I would invest in something new for my oven!

My favorite kitchen item is my aluminum sauce pan. We have used it for years making popcorn on the stove. It's pretty worn out and we are going to miss it :O(

Fun Giveaway! Thanks for doing this!! I would get the Fagor Home Canning Kit...I started canning last weekend (YIKES) and in spite of having a ridiculous amount of Zucchini and none of the proper equipment, it came put pretty great :).

my fave kitchen item of the moment is my tortilla press. Hubby is from Central America and loves tortillas, but I can't make them like his mama lol. So I cheat and use a press to get them round and the right thickness before heating them up on a griddle. It is a time saver and essential item in my kitchen.

You learn something new every day. I went to the CSN site and read, "The name 'LEGO' is an abbreviation of the two Danish words 'leg godt', meaning 'play well'." Since we are visiting Chicago again soon, and my son loves loves loves Legos, I am digging the Sears Tower and John Hancock Building sets from the Lego architecture series.
